In the ancient wisdom of the East, our body is more than flesh, bone, and blood — it is a living temple of energy. At the heart of this energetic system lie the chakras: seven luminous wheels of life-force that bridge the material and the spiritual, the earthly and the divine.
Each chakra is a portal — a place where consciousness blossoms, where healing is possible, and where our soul learns to dance with the body.

When our chakras are open and balanced, life flows with ease. We feel grounded yet inspired, strong yet compassionate, intuitive yet connected to reality. But when these centers are blocked or overactive, disharmony emerges — not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Let us travel together through these seven sacred gateways, from the root that anchors us to the crown that connects us to the Infinite.

1. Root Chakra – Muladhara 🌱

Location: Base of the spine
Color: Red
Element: Earth
Mantra: Lam

The Root Chakra is our foundation — the grounding force that connects us to Mother Earth. It governs our sense of safety, stability, and belonging.
When open, it gifts us with resilience, vitality, and trust in the flow of life. When blocked, fear, anxiety, and insecurity can arise.

Balance Practice: Walk barefoot on the earth, eat grounding foods like root vegetables, and breathe deeply into your lower belly.

2. Sacral Chakra – Svadhisthana 💧

When blocked, we may experience emotional numbness, guilt, or creative stagnation.

Working with the chakras is not about perfection — it is about harmony. Energy ebbs and flows like the seasons, and so will your chakras. The invitation is to keep returning to them, to keep tending to your inner garden, so each petal of your being blooms in its own divine time.

When your seven wheels of energy are aligned, you do not just live — you radiate, you heal, you inspire. Your life becomes the dance of Spirit through matter, and your body a temple of light.

By Burak UGURLU

Energy clearing, an ancient practice embraced by diverse cultures worldwide, is a sacred art that involves purifying and revitalizing the subtle energies that permeate our beings and surroundings. Just as we clean our physical spaces to create a harmonious living environment, so too must we tend to the energetic realms to foster spiritual well-being.

Understanding Energetic Imprints:
Throughout our lives, we encounter various energies that leave imprints upon our souls and surroundings. Positive experiences fill us with joy, love, and vitality, while negative encounters can burden us with stress, anxiety, and emotional baggage. Additionally, the environments we inhabit can absorb these energies, affecting the ambiance and harmony of our spaces.

The Impact of Energetic Clutter:
Similar to clutter in our physical spaces, energetic clutter can accumulate over time, hindering our spiritual growth and emotional well-being. This clutter may manifest as unresolved emotions, lingering traumas, or even disruptive energies from external sources. If left unattended, it can lead to a sense of stagnation and block the free flow of positive energy in our lives.

The Sacred Ritual of Energy Clearing:
Energy clearing rituals serve as sacred acts of spiritual housekeeping, restoring balance and harmony to our energetic fields and spaces. These rituals vary across cultures and spiritual practices, each carrying its unique symbolism and significance. Common methods include smudging with sage or Palo Santo, using crystals and gemstones, sound healing with singing bowls or bells, and visualization techniques.

Purifying with Smudging:
Smudging, a popular and ancient technique, involves burning sacred herbs like sage, lavender, or cedar to release fragrant smoke that purifies the energy around us. The smoke is believed to carry prayers and intentions to the divine, while simultaneously neutralizing negative energy.

Harnessing Crystal Energy:
Crystals and gemstones possess unique vibrations that can aid in energy clearing and healing. Placing specific crystals strategically within our spaces or carrying them with us can amplify positive energy and disperse negative influences.

Harmonizing with Sound:
Sound healing techniques, such as using singing bowls or chimes, create soothing vibrations that resonate throughout our bodies and spaces. These vibrations help align our energies, dispelling disharmony and promoting a sense of peace.

The Intentional Power of Visualization:
Visualization is a powerful tool to manifest our desires and clear energetic blockages. By envisioning light cleansing and energizing our beings, we actively engage in the process of energy clearing, reinforcing positive transformations.

The Profound Benefits:
Energy clearing fosters profound benefits, allowing us to experience heightened clarity, emotional release, increased vitality, and a deeper spiritual connection. By purging energetic imbalances, we make space for positive energies to flow freely, uplifting our lives and attracting abundance.

Embrace the Journey:
Embarking on the journey of energy clearing opens the door to self-discovery, healing, and spiritual growth. It is an invitation to cleanse the soul’s abode, creating an environment that nurtures our well-being and empowers us to navigate life’s challenges with grace.

Incorporating energy clearing practices into our daily lives can be a transformative and empowering experience, allowing us to embrace the beauty of balance, harmony, and spiritual alignment. Embrace the art of energy clearing, and watch as your soul’s landscape transforms into a sacred sanctuary of light and love.

It can also direct energy and transfer healing energy mentally to the surroundings or a person’s body. It serves as a means to send prayers and intentions to the spiritual world, and to create a sacred space by shaking it in a circular motion.

In present-day Iroquois medicine societies, the gourd rattle symbolizes the sound of creation, as creation stories depict the first sound as the voice of the Creator’s thoughts. The seeds inside the rattle are seen as the source of new life and are thought to dispel illusions from the mind.

In South America, the shaman’s rattle is a highly revered instrument. It is believed to embody the sacred forces of the cosmos through its sound, structure, contents, and connection to shamanic trance. The different parts of the rattle also represent the structures of the world, with the handle symbolizing the axis to the Celestial Realm, and the head-gourd representing the Upper World and its spirits. The joining of the handle and head symbolizes the unity of masculine and feminine forces in the universe, giving the rattle its creative power. For a shaman, taking care of the rattle and playing it correctly in rituals is seen as fulfilling the human spirit’s purpose of maintaining the order of existence.

Rattles and drums work well together to induce trance states. The repetitive sound of the rattle, like that of the drum, helps to reach a trance-like state. The high-pitched frequencies created by shaking the rattle complement the low frequencies of drumbeats. The high tones stimulate the upper parts of the body, while the low tones from drums impact the abdomen, chest, and balance organs, leading to a physical impulse towards movement. Rattles stimulate higher frequency nerve pathways in the brain than drums, enhancing the overall sonic effect. Try combining a rattle and drum in a shamanic journey.

Choose a suitable location for taking your hapé.

Set your intention for the experience by focusing on what information or guidance you hope to receive from the plant medicine.

Recite your hapé chant or prayer while measuring out the desired amount of hapé on the palm of your non-dominant hand.

Load half of the hapé onto the nose end of the Kuripe, and tap the V-shaped end on a hard surface to remove any trapped hapé or air pockets.

Take a deep breath, place the mouth end of the Kuripe in your mouth and insert the nose end into one nostril.

Lean forward slightly, close your eyes and blow the hapé into your nostril.

Take a moment to evaluate the effects of the first dose. Adjust the amount for the second dose as needed.

Repeat steps 4-7 for the second nostril.

After experiencing the hapé, you can move the energy through your body by placing your fingers on the top of your nose, moving them up your forehead, and running them along the top and sides of your head. Brush the energy down the back of your head, along your shoulders, and release it into the air. You can also snap your fingers to clear any old or negative energy within your energy field.

Connect with nature and your higher self by grounding yourself in the present moment and feeling the connection to the healing plants in the medicine. Lean forward to prevent any backflow.

By Richard G Harvey

What Is Spirituality?: The Quiet, Tacit Question of Existence

What is spirituality?

Spirituality is everyday life. It is kindness. It is acceptance. It is practice and it is enlightenment, as well as the opposite of all these.

Spirituality is a redundant word, because, somewhat like love, it has been overused. If we are to use it with any specificity, as I think we should, we need to gather together all I have just said, together with the disparate definitions offered by others who are concerned with the so-called higher worlds and undertake a house-clearing, so that we know what we are talking about. If not, let’s think of a new word altogether! –because the function of language is to communicate.

Today we have a Tower of Babel situation; just look around at the vast array of spiritual teachers, religious traditions, new and ancient spiritual philosophies which are sometimes confused, vague or obtuse, but always confusing. If we are to truly communicate, I don’t think that spirituality should be any different to cooking or medicine or politics. Within these spheres of endeavor, if you are as confused as people seem to be in the spiritual sphere, we would be speaking nonsense with devastating consequences.

So what is the definition we should use to inform us?

Spirituality is the term that describes the higher functioning of human beings. Without a spiritual dimension, human beings are engaged solely with animalistic concerns, like belonging to a group, mating and procreation, acquisition and physical security. In the intermediate stages of human development we are concerned with identity, socialization, compassion for others and individual responsibility. Spiritual philosophies and methodologies are those which envelope all of these and go on to assume a higher aspiration for human fulfillment, an intrinsic need, felt by many, that we are more than we seem to be and that the world of appearances is not all there is.

Like Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs?

Yes, like self-actualization and peak experiences in Maslow’s model. But also like the insights of the Upanishads, the Dhammapada, the Course in Miracles, Zen Buddhism, mystical Christianity, Sufism, and on and on through transpersonal systems and spiritual maps too numerous to mention. But what they have in common is human beings striving for the ultimate understanding in the belief that something elusive that is beyond the world of appearances gives meaning and significance to life.

Why is spirituality a concern of relatively few people?

Spirituality is universal. It is everyone’s concern to discover who they really are, through physical, psychological, mental, soulful and spiritual levels of the human predicament. We cannot judge how individual people are engaged with this, but arguably whatever a person is doing — thinking, working, forming relationships, vacationing — is an attempt to balance, engage with and understand self and the world. It’s a response to the quiet, tacit question of existence.

And that question is?

Who am I? No one is free of the consequences of this question. The only difference is in how we choose to answer it; in self-referral, self-definition or self-transcendence.

What about the etymological origins of the word? Spirit means breath, doesn’t it?

Spiritusmeans breath and espiritus means the breath of God, which is the word from which we derive our term inspiration. So spirit is about breath, the divine breath prajna, the interchange with the universe we experience when we breathe in and breathe out. When I breathe in the universe breathes out or inspires me; when I breathe out the universe breathes in or I inspire it. Which is it? From the spiritual standpoint there is no difference, because the universe and I are the same.

Spirituality then is about a relationship between soul, spirit and body?

Spirituality is also associated with questing in the form of a journey. It appears that we have to undertake a spiritual voyage, a quest, or some sort of ordeal in which we are transformed in some way through suffering. The forward moving narrative of that ordeal, the active search for that undertaking has been key to notions of spirituality for centuries. Depending on where and when we were brought up it took the form of the Pilgrim’s Progress, the Ramayana, the legend of Siddhartha, Dante’s journey through the underworld, the Native American vision quest and so on. What each of these narratives has in common is the principle theme of striving towards a spiritual goal through effortful persistence, strong will and determination.

Curiously very few of these spiritual maps see beyond effort. It is as if we are rewarded only when we push ourselves hard. Yet spiritual realization itself is epitomized by acceptance, receptivity, gentleness and surrender — all very soft attributes. Reading these accounts you would think that the only way to heaven is through hell.

And isn’t it?

Heaven and hell are points of view. You enter either one in any moment through your predisposition, which hinges on your attachment to the ego, or separation from the rest of existence. As diverse examples, both Jacques Lusseyrian during his incarceration in World War II and St John of the Cross in a Toledo jail in the Sixteenth Century experienced profound spiritual and divine epiphanies, in spite of enduring the most horrendous physical and mental mistreatment. Another example is Laurens van de Post who taught thousands of POWs in Java to resist bitterness and forgive their captors so that they survived the ordeal psychologically and emotionally intact, through adopting a spiritual strategy.

Does spirituality entail disidentification from the body?

Rather you relate spiritually to your body, as well as to everything else. What this means is that you center yourself in the essence that is common to everything that arises in consciousness and sense the source of all that arises.

Everything that arises at some point also ends?

But that which has no ending is the essence of spirituality. The spiritual quest is to discover and become one with the source of consciousness, the root of attention. Spirituality lies between what we call the mystical and transcendence; it is not an end in itself, our intention should not be merely to practice spirituality, but to penetrate further to where it leads. So, our understanding of mysticism, or the self-directed mystical path (as distinct from a religious path), leads us on a spiritual journey to self-transcendence and the meeting with the Divine.

For some this is God, for others Buddha Nature, infinity, the Absolute or Brahman. But all of these terms are intellectual constructs; they are merely ideas. There is only one appropriate response to a meeting with the Divine — awe-inspired, mystical, breathing silence, because in that great calm one finally encounters one’s true self, which is beyond ideas of mind, interpretation and description.

Spirituality leads to a meeting with the Divine?

Or a meeting with yourself; it’s the same thing. To know yourself, to find out who you truly are you must employ spiritual methods, remain constant to a spiritual practice, but then you have to shed that practice, leave it completely to arrive in the place it has been taking you. This is one of the difficulties in the Modern Era, as well as in ancient times. People are loath to destroy; they’d rather build up. Today we call it materialism. Chögyam Trungpaeven coined the term ‘spiritual materialism’ to describe how spiritual practitioners become attached to their accomplishments and their practice.

Spirituality is concerned primarily with inner aspects of the human being. It is true that a spiritual being shows certain traits, like love, gentleness, compassion and forgiveness. But none of these are worth anything at all unless they are genuine, truly experienced from the heart center of the person exhibiting them. To engage with the heart center one of the insights we must experience is that we do not lack… anything! Nothing whatsoever is wanting in the human experience when it is felt, seen, touched and experienced fully. When this insight has been understood fully, one has this experience of inner emptiness; it is profoundly receptive and resonating and it enables you to relate authentically with the rest of the world. It is the state of being-ness inside you, without activity, restlessness of any kind, without disturbance — inner or outer — it is solid, unwavering; you wouldn’t even call it spiritual, it would be more exact really to call it one’s natural state.

Is this ‘natural state’ available to all?

Yes of course. But you have to want it, and you have to want it badly. Also you must possess an inner integrity, a deep honesty about it and you must accept no substitutes! Because the spiritual path is beset with such distractions, difficulties, seductions and pretenses, urgings of the ego to let it all go and settle for some quasi-spiritual state that would be exalted from the point of view of the novice, the person who aspires to the spiritual rewards of the path.

What can you do in this quasi-spiritual state?

Set up as a spiritual teacher! Play superior, tell people what to do, entice others to act as followers or disciples, write a book about your ‘spiritual’ experiences, your enlightenment, while all the time you are simply preening your ego. It is hardly uncommon in this dark time; the period the Hindus predicted we would be in now — the kali yuga.

But the interest in spirituality, meditation and yoga is surely growing?

Well, interest isn’t necessarily enough. The spiritual world is full of dilettantes and pleasure-seekers and self-aggrandizement. This is not to detract from the sincere practitioners, the applied ones, but even there you see you can come across an ego trap, because some people’s ego is kept alive by enticements like ‘I will never succeed’, ‘I’m not good enough’ — it is simply the antithesis of ‘Look how great I am’, ‘I have succeeded because I am better than the rest’. Spiritually there’s no difference between these two points of view; they both serve the preening of the ego state.

So what should we do? I am beginning to see what you mean about the spiritual path being beset by seductions.

Don’t be seduced, apply yourself diligently, don’t stop until you get to the end of your spiritual journey, pick a teaching and a teacher that makes sense and don’t take anything on face value, rather question everything and don’t think for a minute that you can do it on your own.

Everyone needs a guru?

Everyone needs guidance from someone who functions as a teacher in their life and on their spiritual path, to preside over their spiritual endeavor and correct and encourage and question and cajole and provide a model of an authentic human being in the world. This is how we preserve faith, know that it is possible to succeed and cultivate the commitment and courage to carry on.

Richard Harvey, Psychotherapist, Author and Spiritual Teacher, makes the connection between counseling and psychotherapy and spiritual growth. He speaks particularly to those who are looking for more than they have found in therapy. And offers guidance to those seeking to undertake the inner journey – guidance free of dogma and grounded in what many of us experience as the “messiness” of our personalities.

By Jan Engels-Smith

The shamanic journey is filled with mystery and despite its ancient history, is little understood in Western culture. The journey is one of the most effective ways to make contact with the spirits. The altered state of consciousness in a non-ordinary reality achieved in a journey allows you to transcend the limitations of the rational world with which we are so familiar. The shamanic journey is common to all cultures (even European) and the nature of the journey is remarkably similar in cultures widely separated by era and geography. In the spirit world, both time and place are illusions and the lessons the other worlds provide are universally true. The similarities in journey practices in widely diverse cultures demonstrate this.

We have much to learn about the spiritual realm. The journey provides a format for gathering information concerning your own intention and also for listening openly for what the spirits may want to express to you. I have found the shamanic journey to be one of the most profound ways of connecting with the spirits and one of the richest sources of understanding and awareness.

Working with power animals or guardian spirits is a basic part of the shamanic journey. Shamans or medicine people, those that were the healers of the tribe, believed that their powers came from the animals, the plants, the stones, the elements, or the stars. Communing with these life forms was natural and necessary. These life forms held the secrets of the universe and these secrets could be accessed through the shamanic journey. In non-ordinary reality, it is common to find healing remedies and to move energy in and out of the body during the shamanic journey. This healing or alteration of one’s being includes extraction of negative energy and soul retrieval. The journey involves travel to other worlds or realities to obtain information. When venturing into these other realities, it is usually done with the protection and guidance of your power animal.

There is usually one power animal that you are born with that should stay with you always. This is your main power animal and, if it should leave you, you would feel a loss of personal power. Its absence can be felt energetically. A power animal is extremely important to your well-being and health. The effects of power animal loss and soul loss are very similar. In both cases, people will display symptoms of chronic problems such as; colds, flus, viruses, chronic depression, chronic misfortune, chronic emotional problems, chronic dysfunctional relationships, and lack of confidence, fear, vulnerability, and low self esteem. Power animal retrievals can have a profound healing for the person reconnecting with his/her spiritual ally.

Receiving a power animal in a shamanic journey is a gift from the spirit world. These animals are assigned to individuals; the individual does not choose the animal. They are usually wild, not domesticated, animals. And they are magical; tigers can fly, elephants can swim, and anything is possible. There is no hierarchal system. An eagle isn’t better than a mouse. They are just different and bring different energy to the individual.

Every animal has its own talents and gifts that it is offering to its human counterpart. A study of its talents will reveal the kind of medicine, magic, and power it can help you develop within your own life. Sometimes certain power animals emerge for particular periods of your life. You may need the playful energy of the otter, or the dutiful work ethics of the beaver to get you through a certain situation. These power animals come and go but even if the relationship is short the impact from this profound relationship will remain a lifetime.

Building a relationship with your power animal is a necessity; it takes time and energy. I spend many journeys just being with my power animals. With each journey a trust is developed, insights are gained, and a relationship is built. I suggest that you buy pictures or little figurines of your power animal and display them some place in your home. This honors them and reminds you of their presence in your life. I have found that power animals love to be honored and that they are much more available to you if you develop this practice of consciously honoring them. As this intimate relationship with your power animal grows, you will eventually realize that they are real, in the literal sense, and the protection that they provide you is also real.

I have known of animals actually appearing in Ordinary Reality when its human was in danger. A client of mine was at home late at night and a burglar tried to enter her house. She instantly asked her panther to protect her. Hiding in her hall closet, she heard the loud, aggressive growl of a huge cat emanating outside the house by the door where the burglar was trying to get in. In moments, she heard the burglar scream and run off. She called the police. After their arrival and their usual questions, she went outside with them. One of the policemen pointed out that her very dusty and dirty car had huge paw prints that started from the hood and went to the trunk. Stunned, she realized that her panther spirit guide had chased the burglar away and left its tracks on her car to prove it! Power animals are the greatest protectors in the spirit world.

I believe that learning how to journey and identifying your power animal will help restore your own personal power and health. Even though shamanism is ancient, its healing qualities remain effective during this modern age. It is through the rediscovery of these ancient ways that many people are experiencing feelings of wholeness, connection and empowerment. If we apply the teachings of shamanism to contemporary life, the results can be beneficial to the individual and to the world community in which we live.

By Rebekah Campbell

Full Moon Release Ceremony To Cleanse Your Mind, Body and Spirit

The moon’s cycle is 28 days and it has a powerful effect on our energies. While a new moon brings the energies of creation, birth, rebirth, and manifestation, the full moon completes this cycle and brings the energies of completion, ending, change, and release of those things that no longer serve us. The full moon is the ideal time of the month for purging rituals to take place, which is why it is the perfect time to have your release ceremony. The full moon sheds its beautiful light on our lives, illuminating those things that are blocking or inhibiting our spiritual growth, bringing them into our awareness so we can recognize them and let them go. It is a time to release that which is holding us back, allowing us to become better aligned with our divine life purpose moving forward. We may want to release anger, guilt, blame, judgement, fear, addictions, disease, past relationships, and anything else that brings the negative, lower vibration energies into your life.

While I am sharing the release ceremony that my twin flame, Boyd Campbell, and I enjoy together each month, I encourage you to follow your own intuition and guidance and create a release ceremony that resonates with you. If this one I share with you resonates with you, great! If not, change it up until it does.

This ceremony can be performed alone or with others. Boyd and I do this release ceremony every month. It is a monthly cleansing for us, and a very important part of keeping our energies clear, bright and at the highest vibration levels. It also prepares us for our manifestation and creation rituals which fall under the New Moon, I will share more about this in my next article.

What you will need:

Sage or Sage Incense

One of the following; Sweet Grass Smudge, Cedar Smudge or Incense, Frankincense Incense, Myrrh Incense, Amber Incense

Feather

Himalayan Salt (in a dish)

Water (in a dish)

Black Candle

Selenite crystals (2)

Black Tourmaline crystals (2)

Paper with pen or pencil to write

Smudge shell or dish

Lighter or matches

1. To start, smudge yourself and your ceremony area, including your altar/sacred space with sage. You can use white sage or white sage incense to do this. Smudging with sage clears all negative energies and leaves your aura and your space cleansed – a blank canvas for your release ceremony.

2. Now light one of either Sweet Grass Smudge, Cedar Smudge Stick or Cedar Incense, Frankincense Incense, Myrrh Incense, or Amber Incense and leave it burn throughout your ceremony. Select which ever one resonates for your specific ceremony.

Sweet Grass: The essence of the feminine, known as the breath of Mother Earth. It’s sweet vanilla-like scent brings the blessing of Mother Earth’s love. It reminds us that the earth provides everything we need.

Cedar: A protection medicine. Cedar is used to protect a place, person or object from unwanted influences. Cedar brings with it the essence and energy of the tree itself which is very old and wise. Cedars have very powerful spirits.

Frankincense: a tree resin that is used to cleanse and protect the soul. Frankincense is considered to ease depression and promote clairvoyance.

Myrrh: it is said that this tree resin helps one to maintain a state of enlightenment. It is also said to clear the path of debris that stands in the way of one’s truth and it connects one to the spirit of youth.

Amber: is said to bring love, comfort, happiness and healing.

3. Now you will set up your alter/sacred space. Boyd and I usually use our table. You want to have each of the four elements; water, earth, air and fire represented. You can do this by setting up your dish of water (water), your dish of himalayan salt (earth), your feather (air) and light your black candle (fire). The black candle symbolizes protection and it also helps to absorb any negative or low vibration energies you are releasing. Lastly set up your smudge shell or dish on your alter/sacred space.

4. Black Tourmaline and Selenite – both a must have for a release ceremony. Place your crystals on your alter/sacred space. You can arrange them however you feel is right. Boyd and I usually place them in a square pattern representing the four directions. The Black Tourmaline is a grounding protective stone that absorbs negativity, cleanses, purifies and transforms dense energy into a higher vibration. It also balances and harmonizes the chakras. Selenite is a high vibration crystal that opens your Crown and higher chakras which makes it excellent for spiritual work, it brings calm and peace. It is also a protective stone that shields a person or space from outside influences. It invokes protection from the angelic realm and dispels negative energy. The Black Tourmaline and the beautiful white Selenite also symbolize the balance of the Yin and Yang energies.

5. Now take a few moments to become quiet and meditate. You can invite your guides, angels, ascended masters, or whoever else you would like to be there with you. When you are ready, write down on a piece of paper what it is that you want to release. You can use several pieces of paper if necessary. When you have finished, roll the paper up and light it on fire from the candle flame, placing it in the smudge shell or dish to burn to ashes. Set your intention that when the paper is finished burning, what you have written down is released. Say out loud or in your mind “So Be It”.

6. That’s it. You may become emotional as you release what you have been carrying around for a long time, that’s fine. Go with it. Allow yourself to feel whatever comes through. Accept it, send it compassion and love and let it go. You will feel significantly lighter, as though a large weight has been lifted from your shoulders!

Important Factors to Note:

– Use small pieces of paper so they will be contained in your smudge shell or bowl when you light them on fire.

– For those of you who are attuned to Reiki, use your Reiki throughout the ceremony and if you have been attuned to Reiki Symbols, draw them on your papers.

Rebekah Campbell is a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher, Intuitive, Crystal Healer, Registered Massage Therapist, and Doreen Virtue Certified Angel Card Reader.

By Laurie X Nielsen

It is believed that the Incas were a culture that were descendents of Atlantis, and when this long lost culture was in its destruction, some of the remaining survivors settled in South America, namely Peru.

The Shaman I study with is from Peru and a descendant of the Inca culture of Tiahuanaco. She currently lives in the United States and has been a teacher of the sacred teachings of the Incas for several years. One of the biggest tools she uses and talks about is the Inca Cross. It is also known as a Chakana. It can also be associated with the Tree of Life.

The Inca Cross also represents sacred geometry and it is a language of sacred energy that has been protected for thousands of years. There are 12 points on the Inca cross which also represent various Rites of Creation that people can apply to their own lives and spiritual principles. Six of these rites are male and six are female, creating a perfect balance and this can assist humanity in ultimately reaching a 5th dimensional awareness. These teachings are now being made available to all mankind for the purpose of creating a world with “New men and women in higher consciousness”. These new men and women will have the ability to make decisions and create without the energy of distorted beliefs and perceptions interfering.

Here are the twelve levels or Rites of Creation in order: Love, Trust, Connection, Acknowledgment, Protection, Awareness, Happiness, Passion, Expression, Responsibility, Productivity, Present.

Divided up within the Inca Cross is 5 Dimensional Spaces of Creation which are: Consciousness, Subconscious, Soul, Spirit, and DNA.

Learning how to use all of these tools will serve as ways to eliminate our own limiting beliefs and blocks that we have accrued from all past lifetimes since we first incarnated. Many people have a tendency to believe that it is only this life we have to work on to spiritually ascend. Many do not realize that some of our tendencies, behaviors, reactions and unexplainable health or mental issues could be from burdens accrued from past lifetimes and ancestors. This is an area to look at when you find yourself at a roadblock that is seemingly “unexplainable”. Clearing your past and that of your ancestors does wonders for your life and also that of your children and future offspring.

The Inca shaman I study under has the ability to see people on multi-dimensional levels, meaning, she can see into your DNA, and the things you are experiencing on a sub-conscious level. This is a trait passed on through her ancestors. People of the Inca culture had the ability to do this long ago and it was normal. This helps immensely when trying to heal yourself and address any spiritual concerns you may have. This is also a place we can eventually arrive at, to have these abilities, once we master creation with 5th dimensional energies and beyond.

There is much more to explore about the Inca Cross and receive energy gifts along the way (5th dimensional energy for your healing and understanding). Energy gifts will subtly enter your energy field in your heart. These will assist you to understand on a sub-conscious level the information being given. Energy gifts come from the 5th dimension and are information, energy, colors, and sacred geometry that assist people on their spiritual journeys.
