K’INTU -TRIPLE COCA LEAF

The K’intu: The “k’intu” refers to a ceremonial offering of three coca leaves held together. The presentation and orientation of these leaves in a particular way is significant in various rituals and ceremonies.

Representation of the Three Worlds: As mentioned previously about Andean cosmology, there’s a division into three realms or worlds:

Hanan Pacha: The upper world, represented by the condor.
Kay Pacha: The world of the living, represented by the puma.
Uku Pacha: The inner or underworld, represented by the serpent.
The three coca leaves of the k’intu are believed to symbolize these three realms.

Harmony and Balance: The triple coca leaf offering seeks to create a harmony between these realms, ensuring balance in the universe and the individual’s life.

Offerings to Pachamama and Apus: K’intus are commonly used as offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits). By offering the k’intu, devotees seek blessings, protection, and harmony in their lives.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

• Returns:
– Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, and
– Buyers are responsible for any loss in value if an item isn’t returned in its original condition.

We may exchange an item for another one of the same type provided that:
– The item is returned in its same original condition, and
– Buyers assume the total cost of the return shipping as well as the total cost of the new shipping.

• Failed Delivery:
Please be aware that sometimes items are returned to Chakana Journey due to failed delivery for different reasons such as “unclaimed”, “addressee not available at the time of delivery”, “failed delivery attempt”, “unsuccessful delivery”, among others. In these events, we offer you two options:

– We may refund the amount of the item but we will deduct the actual and total initial item’s shipping cost.
